SYDNEY BLAKE (Playwright and Producer) started out as an actress in New York, working in films (Woody Allen’s), TV (Late Night with David Letterman), Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Dinner Theaters (but not in that order). She moved to Los Angeles, where she became a writer on TV comedy series, including Major Dad, Empty Nest, and Mama’s Family. Finally, Sydney went back to New York, where she returned to playwriting, which she had begun in her Smith College days. Last summer YOUNG PILGRIMS won a place in Broadway Producer Ken Davenport's international Rave Theater Festival. This is its first full-scale production.
Britt Lafield (General Manager) is an independent theatrical Producer, General Manager and Actor with 25 years experience in New York and Regional Theater, having produced on every level in New York, short of Broadway. Including the Productions of PigPen Theatre Co.’s “The Old Man and The Old Moon”, “Magdalene”, “Susan Gets Some Play” and “The Cruel Engagement”. He is currently the Executive Director of the Rave Theater Festival and the General Manager of the Soho Playhouse. He was the Festival Administrator for the New York International Fringe Festival from 2009- 2013 and is the creator and producer of the Fringe Encore Series that just celebrated is 12th Anniversary.
